Phusor presents an innovative approach to MIDI art by transforming images into musical compositions. This application allows users to generate MIDI representations of their photographs through a scanning process that assigns sound to visual elements. Users can easily upload or capture an image, and for optimal results, remove the background—an option that enhances clarity and focus. The app offers several modes, including Monochrome, Polychrome, Color, and Outline (available when the background is removed), each enabling different artistic and auditory outcomes. Additionally, users can fine-tune the threshold levels for Monochrome and Polychrome modes to customize the visual and auditory effect. A built-in, hands-free piano feature provides an opportunity for users to play and experiment with music directly within the application.
